SIBSHOPS
Sibshops (Ages 8 - 12) provides young brothers and sisters with peer support & information about their sibling’s disability in a safe setting. Siblings will meet other siblings to have fun, laugh, & talk about the good & not-so-good parts of having a sibling with a disability for 8 sessions. We will meet bi-weekly to play games, learn, chat, and of course have fun!
Our Facilitators consist of Behavioural Consultants and Registered Provisional Psychologists. Our Facilitators are also Certified Sibshop Facilitators.
Payment for the Sibshops is $1600 for the entire semester. The $200 per 2h session fee (100$ per hour) is in accordance with FSCD rates for psychologists. Payment can be made in full or at the end of each session. An official invoice will be provided upon payment. At this time, we only accept credit card payments through Square. As our facilitators are Registered (Provisional) Psychologists and Behavioural Consultants, these services may be covered by insurance benefits or FSCD funding.
